Richard R. Brown Associates (RBA) was founded in 1985 by its principal architect, Richard R. Brown, who previously practiced with Charles S. Givens Interests and served as Director of Design at ADC Architects in Dallas.

The firm has earned numerous design awards and accolades for both public and private projects, both nationally and internationally. Troy Downing joined the firm in 1990 and has since advanced to the role of Associate Principal.

RBA’s primary production office is located in Nichols Hills, Oklahoma, with branch offices in Dallas, Texas, and Manhattan, New York. The firm has extensive expertise across several market sectors, including:
